This workshop reflects a nationwide, global perspective of the role individual educators play in developing their student's self-esteem, emotional intelligence and life skills. Emphasis is placed upon how teachers' behaviors, strategies and practices can encourage/discourage student achievement. Powerful communication patterns are examined, learning styles and modalities are discussed, and how to turn "losers" into "winners" will be the focus of the presentation. This session will address the causes of violence and how we can diffuse and even perhaps prevent potential time bombs. Everyone wants to be a winner! Through this candid and hard hitting workshop many possibilities open for eliminating violence.
